Ø      6:15  Welcome reception

 

Ø      7:00  Dinner at the Inn, followed by introductory lecture on the current state of the industry

Ø      Breakfast at the Inn - then travel to Bunker's Harbor on the Schoodic Peninsula

 

Ø      Lecture on the science of lobsters – anatomy, habitat, predators/diseases, etc.

Ø      Lobster Boat Ride on the “Lulu”— see first hand how traps are hauled

Ø      “Baiting the Trap”—learn about types of bait, both traditional and alternative; the structure of  a trap and how to bait it.
