Robert Bayer is executive director of the Lobster Institute at the University of Maine. He has been involved in lobster research at the university for more than 20 years as a professor in the Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering ,and the School of Marine Sciences. Dr. Bayer has degrees from the University of Vermont and Michigan State University.
